These handmade papers have a base paper that is made from rayon and are super strong, despite their delicate appearance. Then they are printed with white ink with a number of different patterns. The sheets are quite large. With this sort of paper you can dye it from the back side. You can use markers, watered down acrylic, gouache, dye or watercolor. If you brush the color onto the back, they fibers will absorb the color but the printing will stay white. Creating a new unique paper that is great for overlays and collage.
