When I first heard about The Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge on QVC+, I knew I had to give it a shot. Wrapping gifts has always been more than just a skill for me—it’s an art, a way to tell a story, and a reflection of thoughtfulness. So, I took a leap, sent in my application, filmed a video showcasing my work, and before I knew it...I was an alternate for season 1 in 2023. Fast forward to 2024 and I did it all again only this time I secured a spot on the show. The moment I received the call that I had been selected, excitement and nerves hit me all at once.

They flew us out to Pennsylvania, where we filmed at the breathtaking Tyler Arboretum. The setting was tranquil and soothing, a stark contrast to the high-energy, high-pressure competition unfolding over the next five days. Competing against eight incredibly talented contestants for a $10,000 prize and an array of other rewards was as thrilling as it was nerve-wracking. Each challenge pushed our creativity, speed, and precision to the absolute limit.

Every morning, we were picked up from our hotel by 7 AM and didn’t return to our rooms until around 8 PM—long, exhausting days filled with moments of triumph and frustration. The judges’ feedback was brutally honest, and while their critiques were invaluable, they definitely added to the emotional rollercoaster. Some days, it was hard to hear, but I reminded myself that growth often comes from discomfort.
Despite the pressure, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The camaraderie among the contestants, the adrenaline rush of timed challenges, and the sheer joy of doing what I love on a national stage made it all worthwhile.
And then, the moment came—I won.
Hearing my name announced as the winner was surreal. Winning wasn’t just about the title or the prizes; it was validation that my passion, my dedication, and my unique approach to gift wrapping had truly made an impact.

This journey has reinforced my belief that gift wrapping is more than just ribbons and paper—it’s an experience, an expression of thoughtfulness, and a true art form. I can’t wait to bring everything I’ve learned back to Avenue Wrapping and continue creating magic, one beautifully wrapped gift at a time.
